A limited number of commemorative bricks from the Hotel Putnam are available through the West Volusia Historical Society. Bricks will be cleaned, sealed and finished with a metal plaque depicting the hotel in her glory days. Each numbered brick comes with a certificate of authenticity. The bricks are available with a donation for the restoration of two structures significant to DeLand's history - the DeLand House Museum at 137 W Michigan Avenue and the James W. Wright building at 258 W Voorhis Avenue. All donated funds will be shared by these two preservation projects and will be used exclusively in the restoration of these two structures.
