Heritage Tour of Historic Homes & Buildings
Saturday, Dec. 10 & Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022 noon to 5 pm both days
West Volusia Historical Society presents an unforgettable tour of 8 historic homes and 4 historic buildings ready for the holiday season.
This year’s tour features three DeLand neighborhoods: two areas in the Old Northwest Historic District, one near Stetson University and one closer to downtown DeLand, both of which were developed in the early 1900s; and the Historic Yemassee Neighborhood, which contains some of the oldest buildings (1890s through 1920s) associated with DeLand’s black commercial life.
$30 per person in advance; $35 on days of event. Admission fee is good for both days. Tickets are NOT refundable.

12 noon - 5 pm.
Park in a designated lot either on Michigan Ave or on Florida Ave.
In Conrad you will receive a tour booklet with map and wrist band which will give you access to the homes on the tour.
Tours begin at the WVHS Conrad Center, 137 W. Michigan Ave., DeLand. Pick up your program booklet and wrist band on the day you begin your tour, either on foot or board one of the vans that circle the route all afternoon. Ample parking is available in the grass lot on West Michigan Avenue east of the DeLand House Museum, and on Florida Avenue in the paved lot behind Stetson University's Davis Hall. We encourage you to use the free transportation provided because parking is limited on some streets. Many of these historic buildings are unfortunately not handicap accessible.
Walk around each neighborhood at your own pace, and catch a van between them, or to return to Conrad.
