Tour of Historic Homes
Saturday & Sunday, December 12 & 13, 2026
noon to 5 pm both days
West Volusia Historical Society presents an unforgettable tour of eight historic homes ready for the holiday season.
This year’s tour features the Old Northwest Historic District, with lovingly preserved residences built in the period of growth that began in the late 1880s with the Progressive Era and continued through the Boom. As Stetson University's campus expanded, so did this residential area immediately to the west. Many of the largest and most beautiful houses in the city were built at this tie, along with more modest bungalows and cottages.
$35 per person in advance; $40 on days of event.
Admission fee is good for both days. Tickets are not refundable.
Tours begin at the WVHS Conrad Center, 137 W. Michigan Ave., DeLand, where you will pick up your program booklet, map and wrist band on the day you begin your tour, either on foot or board one of the vans that circle the route all afternoon. Walk around the neighborhood at your own pace, and catch a van between them, or your return to parking at the Conrad Center. Please be aware that many of these historic buildings are not handicap accessible.
