The
West Volusia Historical Society has its office in the DeLand
House Museum and oversees the operations of the
Henry A. DeLand
House, the Robert
M. Conrad Research and Educational Center, the
Memorial Hospital
Museums, which include the Veterans
Museum, the Electric
and Ice Museum, the Black
Heritage Museum, the restored Operating
Room and Apothecary, Antique
Toy Collection, and the Elephant
Room.
Located
on the grounds of the Henry A. DeLand House Museum is the
Lue Gim Gong Memorial Gazebo. The Gazebo houses the bust of
Chinese horticulturist, Lue Gim Gong, who came to DeLand in
1886.
